Storytelling and Videomaking as tools for active and participatory witnessing as part of the project
WOMEN'S ACTION FOR PEACE
September 2024 - 31 January 2025
The Storytelling activity involved women and youth affected by ongoing or past conflict dynamics in order to produce a video of approximately 25 minutes in length, in which personal, professional and activist experiences were recounted. Space was given to the experiential experience of the women involved, to their personal view of the conflicts they live with, so as to return a choral yet personal narrative of the specific contexts they belong to. The narratives offered women's looks at the wars and conflicts that have affected Iraq, Libya, Lebanon and Tunisia in recent years, both in the collective experience of local communities and in the intimacy of individuals.
Impact assessment on women's involvement in peacebuilding processes as tools for active and participatory witnessing.
WOMEN'S ACTION FOR PEACE
September 2024 - 31 January 2025
The drafting of two an Impact Assessment and an Evaluation Report made it possible to define, in a rigorous and comprehensive manner, the results achieved during the five years of the project, and to indentify lessons learned that can help define future programmatic activities.
The Evaluation Report produced by Agency for Peacebuilding presents the findings of the final evaluation of the efforts that Un Ponte Per and its network of partners based in Iraq, Italy, Lebanon, Libya or Tunisia, implemented to contribute to the advancement of the Women, Peace and Security (WPS) Agenda in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, from 2021 to early 2024. It is part of the WPS WOMEN’S ACTION FOR PEACE project.
The Impact Assessment on women's involvement in peacebuilding processes evaluates the implementation and impact of the Women, Peace, and Security (WPS) agenda in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, with a particular focus on National Action Plans (NAPs). It is a work done by the Lebanese NGO LOUDER as part of the WPS WOMEN’S ACTION FOR PEACE project.
